Fundraising & Charitable Donations

All Franchises will run the same fundraisers throughout the year (giving everyone the same opportunity to raise money). If done effectively, the fundraising is designed so that your annual league fee, FAAB and Minor League Draft money can be paid entirely through your prior years fundraising (with a an annual surplus to spare.)

Each time a fundraiser is completed, the Franchises receive 40% of the funds as they own 40% of the league (2% each). Furthermore, many of the League fundraisers provide generous financial aid to the charity designated by league vote for that year. This is something that we at UFB are particularly proud of, and you will be too when you see the donations made.



1) Ultimate Franchise Baseball ™ will run a Sports Sweepstakes ticket selling program "Baseball Fever" in conjunction with a designated charity (chosen by the League each year) where each Franchise receives MLB related Sports Sweepstakes tickets to sell. Each Franchise must sell 203 Sports Sweepstakes tickets @ $10 each. Over a 5 week period, cash prizes are awarded to individuals who purchased winning tickets. $400 in prize money is awarded each week for a total of $2,000 in prize money over the 5 week period. Sweepstakes results will be available on-line for the purchasers to follow along.

This is an Ultimate Franchise Baseball ™ sponsored fundraiser and each Franchise team will receive $400.00 for the fundraising program upon selling their tickets. This is done twice each season for a total of $800.00 in revenue per team or a total of $16,000 for the 20 Franchises. The chosen charity will receive 1/2 of the remaining League profit (a check for $12,000.00 - $13,000.00).

2) Franchises sell merchandise such as baseball hats and shirts embellished with their logo. Friends, family, and business associates, as well as those of your investors, will all wear your colors and support your cause. Make as much or as little merchandise revenue as you want. Create a buzz around your team - sell more merchandise, make more money. All merchandise must be bought from the League. The Franchise keeps 100% of their sales profits.

3) An annual “day at the game” outing will be organized for each league. This event will allow Franchise members, their families and friends to attend a local MLB baseball game, while raising funds for the Franchises. There will be games and other fun contests between each inning to raise additional valuable funds for each Franchise.

4) An annual Wiffle Ball tournament for each League will be organized. The UFB promoted event will be open to Franchise members, family, friends and the general public. There will be Home Run hitting contests for both adults and children and other fun Wiffle Ball related activities. 1/2 of the funds raised will go to the League designated charity.

5) At the conclusion of each year, an awards reception will be held for each League. The winner’s trophy and prize money will be presented to winning Franchise at this event. This is a great opportunity for all of your Franchise members to gather with other Franchise members from other teams. Additional funds will be raised at this event to further suplement each Franchise.
